Our Fall Calendar To Schedule Visits is Open!
In addition to our exciting Open House, Yale Divinity School welcomes visitors and prospective students year-round. A typical day for a visitor will include an info session/informal chat with an Admissions staff member, a meeting with Doreen Generoso, our Financial Aid officer, a tour of YDS’s historic campus, the experience of one of our daily services in Marquand Chapel, coffee hour, the chance to sit in on a class or two, and lunch with current students.
Visiting campus in such a manner is a great way to check out the rhythm and activity of an ordinary day at YDS. It is a very helpful way to get to know our school, and gives applicants a very clear picture of the kind of work we do and the community we build.
While a visit is not necessary for acceptance, we strongly encourage it. Our Fall Calendar for visits recently went live, and you can access it at our online scheduler here. Hope to see you in the fall!
*Note that we do not schedule visitors for Fridays, as those are days when fewer classes are in session. If a Friday is the only available time you have, please call our office and we will set up a visit for you. Thanks!
