Our dear Sterling Memorial Library is currently undergoing a renovation, transforming its beautiful nave into a series of fluorescent-lit hallways. Visitors to campus can expect a restored and rejuvenated temple of learning when the renovations are completed in September of 2014.
Though that is a year away, despair not! Many beautiful places to study are still available throughout Yale’s campus (two on our very own Sterling Divinity Quadrangle). For a great list of some of Yale’s greatest study locations, some on the beaten path, some not, visit this site, where you can learn about the Day Missions Reading Room (right here on 409 Prospect Street), the East Asia Library Reading Room, or the Classics Library (another personal favorite), amongst others.
